Booties for Fall

The long Labor Day weekend was great. Chris and I got lots of cleaning done, ate some great food, relaxed on the couch and bing watched Parks and Rec and spent time with friends and family. I managed to keep myself away from the various Labor Day sales but I did spend a lot of time online window shopping for a new pair of booties for fall. I was pretty set on a pair of chelsea boots but have been considering other styles. I want a pair that are versatile and will last. What I Want Now – July

This post is a bit late but I hope you will forgive me. I have a more normal schedule now so I hope to get these posts back on a daily posting. When I first put this post together, I hadn’t yet received my puffer vest in the mail and it probably wouldn’t have appeared here if I had (but I’ll get more in depth with that later). August is here and summer is coming to a close, which is extremely bittersweet. I LOVE the heat but adore autumn. I can’t help but to begin getting excited about the cooling temperatures and fall fashion. If I add nothing else to my wardrobe this fall, I will be happy with a pair of nice Chelsea boots. My sights are set on a pair of Frye boots buuuuut it may be more practical to settle on a more wallet-friendly pair, such as these Uggs. As for the Anthropologie knob, I cannot wait to update my buffet hutch and I’ve been eyeing these knobs forever but have hesitated because for a cabinet that needs eight knobs, $10 a piece is pretty pricy.

Favorite Fall Boots

There are many reasons why I love fall but one of them is the footwear. Boots are my absolute favorite shoes and I will find any reason to buy a pair. It’s nothing short of a miracle that I only currently own a handful (aside from my ugly winter ones, of course). Living in Ohio gives me plenty of opportunities to wear them so before the season is through I hope to add another pair to my repertoire. Above I have listed five of my favorites.
